One of my goals for these warm summer months is to blog more personal pictures. I’m hoping to share a personal post each week.
Back at the beginning of April the boys and I took a short trip up to Hendersonville, NC, where the boys made new friends, and I visited with my dear friend Helen Joy.
We bonded over spirited firstborns, birth stories, photography, and a genuine longing to find and share beauty and joy in our callings as wives, mothers and artists. We talked way, way too late into the evening for two mamas who have lively children who are ready to run a marathon before 7AM each morning, but it was worth it.
We spent one chilly, cloudy morning at Hooker Falls, watching our babes play, while we documented their adventures. The final handful of pictures (with me in them) were taken by Helen Joy.
